Harvest Tyme Family Farm in Lowell, IN is one of those family destinations in Indiana that offers everything you need to have a great day with the kids: games, carnival rides, food options, seasonal activities, a monarch butterfly encounter, and their new debut attraction for 2024… Construction Tyme adventure!
When you arrive at Harvest Tyme Family Farm, you’re greeted by an open landscape of attractions and rides, as well as adorable animated farm characters! Kids and adults can easily spend the whole day here playing games and riding the rides, while never having to leave for food or snacks. Plus, all of the activities on the farm are included in the admission price and there’s no limit to how many times you can enjoy each activity! They have rotating events that circulate throughout the season: Harvest Tyme, Unicorn Tyme and Dino Tyme, so there’s always a special event happening at the farm.
Harvest Tyme Family Farm hosts such a wide variety of things to experience and enjoy, it’s hard to know where to start when you arrive! Here’s the breakdown of everything you can expect to see and do:
At the Amusement Park:
Families can enjoy nostalgic carnival style rides like the super slide, tilt-a-whirl, corn twister, carousel, rubber duck race, and monkey barrels! These rides are all included in admission along with ALL of the other activities kids will be sure to love: pig races, trike rides, a small roller coaster, jumping pillow, the butterfly encounter and MORE!

At Construction Tyme:
I’ve never seen anything like this experience anywhere else! Kids can live out their construction dreams by hopping inside the farm’s mini diggers and claws as they use their skills to excavate dirt and pick up balls from the ball pit. We were able to take our time going from machine to machine learning how they all worked and picking out our favorites! Construction Tyme runs August 24th – September 22nd, 2024 and you can grab your tickets here. Harvest Tyme has plans to make this a re-occurring event in the future, so if you have little ones who are are too small right now to ride, you can look forward to watching them dig next year! You can use code HANNAH3 for $3.00 off an admission.

Seasonal Activities:
While we were there we learned about the seasonal activities that Harvest Tyme Family Farm offers. In the fall (September 28 – October 27) they put on their Fall Festival where families can enjoy classic Indiana fall favorites like a corn maze (they also have a kiddie maze), hayrides, a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo and so much more! But, arguably one of the best times to experience the fall fun at the farm is at night, when thousands of festive lights and pumpkins light the way through the walking trail. The perfect way to end a day of fall fun!
But the seasonal experiences at the farm don’t stop once fall is over…Christmas time lights kicks off the winter season in full swing (November 29 – December 29)! Families are able to soak up the magic of Christmas through a walking trail sparkling with millions of lights, displays, and classic Christmas music! Grab a hot cocoa, a Christmas cookie, and your favorite holiday mittens because this is a tradition the whole family will enjoy for years to come.
